A group in laser tag gear lit by the arena neon at Combat Ops

Combat Cares. Raise money in a building nobody wants to leave.

Schools, churches, sports teams and non-profits. Up to 300 people, weekday evenings work best, and the whole building can be yours.

01 / Fundraising

A fundraiser people actually turn up to, and then tell other people about.

The hard part of a fundraiser is not the cause. It is getting people through the door, and then getting them to come back next year. A room where families compete against each other for two hours solves both, because nobody has to be persuaded to enjoy it and everybody has something to talk about afterwards.

Combat Cares is our community and fundraising program. Schools, PTOs, churches and youth groups, sports teams and booster clubs, and registered non-profits all run events here.

Practically it looks like a group booking. You pick the attractions, we sequence them so the group keeps moving rather than queueing, and game masters run the sessions so your volunteers are not also trying to referee laser tag.

Weekday evenings and daytimes are the best slots, because there is far less public traffic and more of the building is available to you. A full-facility buyout is available on a two-hour minimum and can run outside our normal hours.

Who runs fundraisers here.

Different groups, the same booking, and we sequence the attractions to the ages in the room.

01

Schools and PTOs

A whole-family evening that raises money without anyone selling anything door to door. Nerf from age five and laser tag from age seven means a wide age range plays together rather than splitting into age groups.

Ages 5 and up
02

Churches and youth groups

Youth nights, all-church events and fundraisers. Game masters balance the teams, which is what makes a group that barely knows each other leave knowing each other.

Up to 300
03

Sports teams and booster clubs

End of season, start of season, or a straight fundraiser. Dodgeball runs on an all-soft court as an arena buyout, which is the closest thing we have to a team sport.

04

Non-profits and community organizations

Beer and wine service for guests 21 and over makes an adult fundraiser work here, and the axe throwing lounge is private to your group for the duration.

What is Combat Cares?

Our community and fundraising program. Schools, churches, sports teams and non-profits use it to run a fundraiser here.

Who can run a fundraiser with you?

Schools, PTOs, churches and youth groups, sports teams and booster clubs, and registered non-profits. Community organizations and young professional groups too.

How large a group can you take?

Up to 300 people.

When is the best time to hold one?

Weekday evenings and daytimes. There is far less public traffic then, which means a better experience for your group and more of the building available to you.

Can we have the building to ourselves?

Yes. A full-facility buyout runs to a two-hour minimum, opens every attraction including the arcade, and can be scheduled outside our normal business hours.

Can you cater it?

Yes. Catering is available and for larger events we arrange it through Chick-fil-A on Southport Road. We serve beer and wine on site for guests 21 and over, which suits an adult fundraiser.

What does it cost to run one?

Fundraiser structures are being finalised alongside the rest of our packages. Send us the group, the date and roughly how many people and we will come back with what fits.

Tell us the date. We will build the rest around it.

Headcount, a date and the kind of event are the three things that let us come back with a real proposal. Everything else can wait until we talk.
