01 / Donation requests

Ask us for a donation. One form, and a person reads it.

Donations go out through Combat Cares, our community program. Schools, churches, sports teams, non-profits and community organizations across the south side of Indianapolis are all welcome to ask.

02 / How it works

Send it early, tell us what the event is for, and we will give you a straight answer.

Donation requests are limited and they go out in the order they arrive, so the single most useful thing you can do is send yours as soon as you have a date. Tell us what the event is, who it benefits and what would actually help.

Everything comes through Combat Cares, which is the same program groups use to run a fundraiser here. If a donation is not the right fit for what you are planning, a group event often is, and we will say so.

We focus on the south side of Indianapolis and the communities around it, because that is the community this building sits in. If your organization is further out, send the request anyway and we will be honest with you rather than leave you waiting.

If your date is tight, calling the venue during opening hours reaches somebody faster than a form does.

03 / Send your request

Everything we need is on one form.

Your organization, what the event is raising money for, the date, and how to reach you. A person reviews every request that comes in.

The more specific the request, the faster the answer. A vague ask takes longer because we have to come back and ask.

Who can request a donation?

Schools and PTOs, churches and youth groups, sports teams and booster clubs, registered non-profits, and community organizations serving the south side of Indianapolis and the surrounding communities.

What do you donate?

Donations are handled through Combat Cares, our community program. Tell us what your event needs and what it is raising money for, and we will tell you what we can do.

How much notice do you need?

The more the better. Send the request as soon as you have a date, because donations are limited and they go out in the order the requests arrive.

Do you support organizations outside Indianapolis?

Our focus is the south side of Indianapolis and the communities around it. If you are further out, send the request anyway and we will tell you honestly.

Can we also run our fundraiser at Combat Ops?

Yes, and a lot of organizations do both. The fundraising page covers how a group event works.

How will I hear back?

Someone reviews every request and comes back to you. If a date is tight, calling the venue during opening hours is faster than a form.

Tell us the date. We will build the rest around it.

Headcount, a date and the kind of event are the three things that let us come back with a real proposal. Everything else can wait until we talk.
