It is not wood axe throwing. There is a video game projected onto the target.
Most axe throwing is a painted ring on a board and a scorecard somebody keeps on their phone. Ours projects a video game onto the wood, so you are throwing at Space Invaders or Duck Hunt and the target reacts when you hit it. A beginner gets feedback on the first throw instead of on the tenth.
It also fixes the thing that makes ordinary axe throwing dull for a group: there is always something happening on the target, so the four people not throwing are still watching a game rather than watching a queue.
The lounge behind the throwing area is the part people do not expect. It is a bar-style room, private to your rental, which turns axe throwing from a twenty minute novelty into somewhere a group actually settles in. It is why this is our strongest date night and double-date product.
For a corporate booking it works best as a breakout: split a larger group, run half in the laser tag arena and half on the lanes, then swap. Ages 12 and up with a signed waiver, closed-toe shoes required.
